Happy Father's Day

It's 2009 which hopefully shall mean two thousand is mine and gone is two thousand not great! 

Yes, the economy has taken a downturn, but does anyone really care?

At Photo Video Spain and Costa Blanca TV we hope to put a positive spin on life here in Spain. After all, we have great weather, good friends, it's not too expensive to live here and the quality of life is super, so here's looking at the glass half full, and towards having a good year. 

Today was Father's Day in Spain; a Red Day, a public holiday, something that we never enjoyed in the UK or USA! But here in Spain, any half decent excuse for a holiday, and they have one. When summer rolls around, we can go to a fiesta every week. Crazy but true!

And even here in Spain they celebrate St. Paddy's day. Even the Spanish think they are Irish on the 17th. Plus my mates from Stiff Little Fingers were in town, so it was good to hear from Ali McMoride and the boys as they kicked off their European tour with a Spanish Flavour!

The adventure begins

Friday; it's back to work with a trip to La Marina, then Alicante to pick up my repaired Apple iMac and then Benidrom to shoot some video and Photos with Vince 'The Prince' Tracy. Fun, fun, fun and no mention of a trip to Sticky Vicky's. We'll be long gone before she is open for business; no pun intended!

Easter is around the corner. Weddings are being booked and the glass is still half full, or at least we are all trying to look at it that way. 

Torrevieja Today

My home town, and fastest growing city in Spain always has a few things to offer. As a Web-TV company, we are often asked for movie extras and cars, because I'm also a classic car nut. So last week we posted something in the Press looking for cars, bikes, extras and models. If you fit the bill, please contact us.
